For each decision in our lives (step 3) we consider whether the consequences are likely to cause others harm and be willing to make amends if the decision is still appropriate (step 8).
When our decision does harm others we make appropriate amends (step 9).
By considering others in the decision process and taking appropriate actions we are learning to be less selfish.
